Fritidsbaren

The Fritidsbaren is located directly on the beach and offers a relaxed atmosphere with a splendid view of the Baltic Sea. The café is particularly well known for its traditional Swedish pastries and dishes.

A highlight are the famous "wienerbröd" (Danish pastry), which are freshly baked and often served warm. Besides the sweet treats, the Fritidsbaren also offers a selection of savoury dishes, including classic Swedish dishes such as "räksmörgås" (shrimp sandwich) and "köttbullar" (meatballs). During the summer months, the terrace is a popular spot to enjoy the sun while having a cool drink or an ice cream.

The Fritidsbaren became famous under the owners Ingvar and Carrie. Ingvar always announced the ready meals with an antiquated speaking trumpet. Both have since passed away, but the Fritidsbaren is continued by the family.
